Shot in the Dark by David Pritchard. (PC) On 29th August 1940, Allan Wright of 92 Squadron was vectered late at night to intercept a German Bomber. The young pilot began the difficult task of strenuously searching the black sky in Spitfire QJ-S for the raider. Eventually, he heard the chatter of the German crew over his radio, and soon after, the raider was caught in Searchlights.
